MANILA, Philippines — No need for pasabuys or online resellers anymore — the cult-favorite, dermatologist-recommended skincare brand CeraVe from the US is officially on Philippine shores.
Usually only available through overseas pabilis, occasional local pop-ups, and online resellers (with some online shops at risk of inauthenticity), CeraVe is now easier and safer to access, especially for Filipinos with sensitive skin concerns who rely on dermatologist-recommended products and overseas sources to stock up.
While some products were previously listed on CeravVe’s official Shopee store and some health and beauty retailers, Filipino skincare fans can now enjoy the brand’s full lineup more conveniently — from cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreen, acne gel, to night creams, and more.
CeraVe’s range of products starts at P350, and is now available in Watsons, SM Beauty, LOOK, Mercury Drug, and Southstar Drug. Online, consumers can browse through the CeraVe Official Store on Shopee.
Following its official Philippine launch, CeraVe will also be opening pop-up stores nationwide, including locations at SM Aura, SM Mall of Asia, Watsons Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, and more.
CeraVe was founded in 2005 after experts observed a common thread among skin conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, and chronic dryness: a compromised skin barrier. Board-certified dermatologists developed a full, fragrance-free skincare line focused on restoring and protecting that barrier, with three essential ceramides and a patented MultiVesicular Emulsion (MVE) Technology.
Ceramides are lipids naturally found in the skin that help lock in moisture and maintain a healthy barrier. When ceramide levels are low, the skin can become dry, itchy, and irritated. CeraVe’s formulas combine Ceramides 1, 3, and 6-II with fatty acids and other lipids to replenish what the skin lacks, while MVE Technology gradually releases these ingredients over time, providing lasting hydration and protection. – Rappler.com
