A remote worker has left the internet in hysterics after revealing how her dog made a surprise appearance during her work call, as many social media users lauded the pup for prioritizing comfort.

There are many perks to working from home, including the ability to be off camera during work calls. That's often the case for Erin Moore, 29, who works remotely, and is often accompanied by her 3-year-old dog Miller, a pit bull and German shepherd mix.

By now, Moore, of Wisconsin, is accustomed to working while Miller sleeps either on her lap, laying over her shoulder, or cuddled up with a blanket. Miller's a real Velcro dog, and to make things even worse, Moore told Newsweek that "he snores like a human" while he's sleeping.

As Moore attended one of her usual work calls, she kept her camera off because Miller was fast asleep on her and snoring. Unfortunately for her, this particular call was a team bonding exercise, and attendees were asking to put their cameras on for the session.

"I immediately said, 'oh my God, you are joking' out loud, and my team went quiet thinking something happened," Moore said. "I told them that they weren't going to believe how Miller was sleeping and then put my camera on. He stayed like that for the entire hour. Everyone just started laughing at him and showed their pets around them."

Miller has become a star guest during Moore's team meetings, and her colleagues couldn't get enough of his hilarious appearance. There was a great deal of laughter among everyone on the call, but Moore did have to go on mute to save everyone else from listening to Miller's snoring.

Moore couldn't believe her luck after being asked to go on camera, and she shared a video on TikTok (@erinnmooore) showing how Miller gatecrashed the call. The video shows his sound asleep on top of her, with his tongue hanging out and showing absolutely no interest in doing work.

The video has delighted the internet, leading to more than 373,400 views and over 97,200 likes on TikTok at the time of writing. Needless to say, social media users are obsessed with the dog's complete disregard for work meeting etiquette.

Moore continued: "Usually, when he's about to fall asleep, he will let out a big sigh to let me know, or to tell me I'm being too loud when I'm talking on the phone. Wherever I go, he is close behind me like my shadow. If he's not sleeping on me, he's found a pillow and blanket to lay on. He just loves being comfy."

The online response to the video has been overwhelmingly positive, as many dog owners also shared their own similar experiences of remote working with pets. This has led to more than 180 comments on the viral TikTok post so far.

One comment reads: "how your email finds me."

Another TikTok user wrote: "Perfection. 10/10 would give you the rest of the day off as a manager."

While another person joked: "He is having the best nap of his life."
