Taylor Swift has shut down the rumors that she will stop making music as soon as she gets married to Travis Kelce.
The American pop star sat down for an interview with Scott Mills of BBC Radio 2, where she was asked if her new album, “The Life of a Show Girl,” is her final record.
“I just saw some fans going, ‘Well, she’s going to get married and then she’s going to have children and [so this is] going to be the last album,” Mills said, referring to some allegations made by fans online.
Taylor said it’s “a shockingly offensive thing to say.”
“That’s not why people get married, so they can quit their job. I know, they love to panic sometimes, but I love the person that I am with because he loves what I do, and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,” she said.
The “Love Story” hitmaker also shared that she and Travis are passionate about the things they do, which makes them connect more.
“That’s the coolest thing about Travis. He is so passionate about what he does that me being passionate about what I do. It connects us. There’s no point in time where he’s gonna be like ‘I'm really upset that you are still making music,’” she said.
Taylor announced her engagement to Travis in August through an Instagram post featuring a dreamy garden proposal.
Taylor released “The Life of a Show Girl” on October 3, which included the tracks “The Fate of Ophelia,” “Opalite,” and “Eldest Daughter,” among others.
