Get ready for a P-pop celebration like no other as Alden Richards brings together some of the country's hottest acts for a music-filled spectacle, this time, as a producer and creative director.
In an Instagram post, Sparkle GMA Artist Center announced that Asia's Multimedia Star will be launching the Wonderful Moments Music Festival, a two-day event highlighting OPM and P-pop artists on December 6 and 7 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
The Kapuso actor is teaming up with iME Philippines through his company, Myriad, to bring the festival to life before the end of the year.
In an interview, Alden revealed that they faced some challenges in finalizing the lineup for the highly anticipated performances.
“Siyempre minsan kasi, one of the challenges that we encountered while getting the acts were 'yung pagkakasunod-sunod nila in terms of performance and how are we going to divide the first day and second day kasi both days have separate acts, hindi sila isa,” he said.
Alden shared that there will be two different shows in December, each with its own exciting lineup of performers.
He continued, “Honestly, hindi talaga basta basta 'yung guests, so we really have to be on point with our reasoning kung bakit and kailangan everyone would be treated fairly.”
The actor also considers this festival his biggest live event yet as a producer.
Previously, Alden made his directorial debut in the film Out of Order, where he also starred as the lead actor.
The drama-thriller film recently premiered on Netflix on October 2 and debuted as the No. 1 movie on Netflix Philippines.
